Ford F-150 Police Responder Gives Game Wardens Their Most Capable Pursuit Vehicle Ever

Imagine being a game warden for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. You've got an important job, protecting endangered species from poachers who often attempt to steal wild animals from their natural habitat and sell them into the exotic pet trade.

Sometimes it's just about making sure hunters are wearing the proper protective gear, or that invasive species are not spread by inattentive boaters.

Whether the job is big or boring, a warden needs to be able to get out to patrol in some of the most remote locations of the state, and that means having an off-road capable vehicle. The 2018 Ford F-150 Police Responder might just be that vehicle.

The first pursuit-rated pickup truck has everything it takes to be a warden's new best friend. It boasts a 7,000-pound tow rating, the most of any pursuit-rated vehicle, and the largest passenger volume. It is off-road ready with skid plates, all-terrain tires, and four-wheel drive, and it's ready to bring in violent suspects with anti-stab front seats.

Ask about its civilian counterpart, the 2018 Ford F-150 FX4 Off-Road at Summerville Ford.
