Stay Focused: Driving For Yourself and Everyone Else

Have you ever thought to yourself while driving, “What is this crazy person doing?” Maybe you had a few more choice words than that mild phrase. None of you want to be that person and we don’t want you to be that person either. We’re going to give you a few pointers to help you become a more safe and defensive driver. Below is a tip list to help you stay safe:
  • Be aware of all speed limit signs. Don’t drive too fast and also don’t drive too slowly.
  • Don’t assume other drivers will be as safe as you.
  • Check your side view and rear view mirrors periodically.
  • Avoid using electronic devices (Mobile phone, GPS, music, etc.)
  • Watch for pedestrians and cyclists at all times.
  • Plan your routes so that you won’t be distracted while driving.
Be sure to practice these tips every time you enter your vehicle. Remember, it is better to be safe than sorry.
